My heart stopped when I saw this little fishing stage for the first time. I had just moved to St. John’s from Toronto and a friend took me on a road trip ’round the bay – which means anywhere outside of St. John’s. The sun was just starting to set on the red stage on its wooden stilts (called shores) and the reflections on the still water were stunning. You’ll find this little village on the Irish Loop drive, about an hour out of town. Too cute.
